I ordered an electric fireplace to insert into my evxsting mantle. The dimensions stated were correct, it fit perfect, works great and seems to be quality made for the long haul.
Home/Fireplace opening is 100 yrs old. It measured 38 1/4 x 27 1/4 . I ordered the 39 inch width and after making a black wooden shimmy for the bottom...it fit like a glove!! The lighting is great, the effects are too! Mother loved it! Shes 91yo. Everyone comments about the new fireplace!!
I waited a few months to make this review as I wanted to test out the freplace fairly. The price was fantastic ordering directly from RW Flame. I was a little leery but looked up the company and they seemed legit and sell through other platforms as well. I ordered the fireplace and received it within a few days. We have had it for several months now and it has been phenomenal. I love that you can change flame speed. It's just perfect!
The fire place insert was very easy to install. Our of the box it set in the opening of my existing wood burning fire place. Did also order the surround pieces, which gave it a beautiful look.
Looks beautiful and installed it into 10 minutes. Just slid it into the existing fireplace.

Unit arrived with the bottom dented to where it would not sit level, don't know if it was damaged in shipping or during transit from china. After multiple emails and only one initial response that it would be a warranty exchange, NADA, NOTHING, ZILCH. Do NOT recommend buying from this company!!!

I love how quiet and warm this Electric fireplace is . Has multi color choices to choose from plus comes with a small remote .
Love it! Just slide out of the box, plug it in and turn on. Battery already in the remote. We were able to lower out heat and turn this on to warm up the room. Who says you don’t need a fireplace in Florida. Lots of chilly mornings and gives a cozy feel to the room.
Just put it in, nice heat and the flames are very pretty. Looks cozy.
The fit of the 39” unit was perfect for our fireplace. It puts out a lot of heat and the color/flame options are very cool.
Two gripes 1) there is a white piece of styrofoam stuck on the INSIDE of the glass - need to try and blow it out. 2) the orange flames have no blue in them as pictured. Just orange/yellow/red/blue solid options. Minor but worth noting
Overall a great insert for our outdated fireplace. We bought a white extension cord for our unit to help blend in with our white brick. Be nice if I hardwire it someday
We love this fireplace! It is great value for the money, the size is exactly what we were looking for and so far, it works as expected!
I bought this for a large rental 1920's bungalow farm house. the dimensions were right on and it fit perfectly in the opening. The Flame and logs look good and the color options are nice along with the dimmable programs. the heating element works well. Have not tested how well it warms up a large living room yet but it seems like a good supplemental source. I turned it on and asked one of my workers what he thought and he said " I love it!". As far as I know he only loves his truck and his dewalt tools and his dog so I will take it as high praise! the only negative I have to say about it is that it seems like when it is off, it has a slight wavy feel to the glass. But I am sure it will set the room off and help tent the house. Glad to have it and at a decent price!
Not happy with the remote have to be on top of unit to work. But will get up to change things
I would prefer if the fireplace had some type of background. It’s just too dark. There’s nothing featured in the background of it..
Maybe a brick look or a mirrored look something.

I’ve been searching for the right one. We bought new to us home and they took out insert so I’ve been searching it. warms up room quickly and so we can shut off heat or just keep the illumination of the fireplace. Some of these options aren’t as nice. But I only need one so that is all it really takes his one.
I absolutely love my electric fireplace! It warms the space up nicely and adds a nice cozy look to the room.
