I think this machine will supply an ample amount of ice for my needs. It fills the bin overnight easily.

The unit arrived earlier than expected. We ran into an issue and contacted customer service. Their response was fast. Lilly was quite professional and helpful in solving the problem. This is the kind of customer service you want when making this type of purchase. Highly recommended!
This machine puts out the ice quickly! Fits perfectly under a counter. Easy to install. The price was good for this type unit. Very happy with the purchase.

Ok I bought this ice machine to go outside in our outdoor kitchen here in Southern California. I read all the reviews and looked at much more expensive machines but in the end decided to give this unit a try.

I put it to the test this past weekend by having the unit empty and turned it on while the outside temperature was 104 degrees. We were experiencing a heat wave expected to last for 4 days. I can't imagine a worse condition than this to see how well this unit worked.

Well to my amazement I had an almost full compartment of ice within 8 hours. Approximately 20 lbs of ice if I was to guess. I was genuinely impressed with how well this unit was able to work in the heat outside.

The next test I did was to let the Ice machine run for a full day without disturbing it. Then I turned the unit off to see how well the ice would last. Remember it was well over 100+ degrees.

Well it's been two days and I still have ice in the machine. It's melted pretty slowly considering the environment it was in. The only down side to this unit is how.loud the ice is when it drops. The first night it woke me up a couple times lol. Considering this unit was 1/3rd the cost of othe brand names and has 2x's the stored ice I'd call this a winner !!!

I got this product on Friday and by Saturday after the 24hrs waiting this killer was making lots of ice. I wish in the future this company could include an in-line water filter. I bought this in-line water filter in Amazon and it was easy to install. I just added a shut-off valve so I could isolate this valve in case of any future maintenance. Now we are able to replenish our slow ice maker and still produce crazy amount of ice. I??m happy with this ice maker and let??s hope I don??t run into any issues like other customers did. I figured within a couple of months it should paid itself off by us not paying extra $$$ weekly. Thank god we don??t have to flip coins to leave the house and buy ice at the store. Let??s see how tho killer will do this hot summer. I will definitely recommend this unit to anyone that wants to save money and avoid the demand of ice shortages. Good luck

We received at set up our Euhomy Ice Maker about 2 weeks ago. After starting up the unit, I emptied the initial ice completely. We left around 4 in the afternoon and came home at 9 p.m. I went to check the ice maker and it was completely full! Since that time we've used the ice maker every day and it always is full of ice. So far this is a great product. We do have very hard water in our area. We have a water softener, but added a water filter to the unit to prolong life and reduce cleaning. Installation was very simple with the connectors and hoses provided. We did it ourselves. The connectors provided are plastic, so I would consider replacing them every few years or buying metal connections for longer life. So far we are very happy with the product. Ice dumping is fairly loud, so I would not put this unit in or near an area where you want quiet. It is especially loud when the bin is empty.

This product is certainly "easy to install". I put that in quotes, since you need a water line coming in, and a drain line going out. It's very easy, in that it just plugs into your power outlet (no hard wiring), but if you aren't particularly handy you might need a plumber to run those lines for you. But it's not a complicated install either way.

Some things to note, and none of these are 'knocks' on the Euhomy, this is the way all ice makers in this category operate, but if you're just getting one for the first time for your house, maybe you didn't know.

1) The bin where the ice is stored is just a bin. Ice in there will slowly melt over time. Only the part of the machine where the ice is made is chilled. This is probably a good thing for you. It makes this product much more affordable, and it is friendlier to your electric bill.

2) You need three things - a power outlet (regular 110V), a water line coming in (same as your refrigerator's ice maker needed), and a drain line coming out - remember that bin? When ice melts, it becomes water. That will pool on the floor, or you can run the line and remove the water. Do that. ,)

In my case, we installed it in our garage. It's not obnoxiously loud, but if you put it in your kitchen, you WILL hear the condenser come on as it's making ice. It sits about 6 feet from our hot water heater, so we had a relatively easy install, we had a guy tap that water line for the heater, and run it also to the Euhomy. Voila, ice coming in! We installed a water filter in between the water line and the ice maker, because filtration!

For the drain line, there was no way to get it safely outside my garage floor without a condensate pump. All ice makers like this rely on a gravity drain. If the drain line runs DOWN, gravity will ensure the water leaves. The further you run that line, the less likely you can keep it sloping downward. So any local big box hardware store will sell for under $100 a water condensate pump. Run the line to the pump, and then from the pump to a place where it's safe for water to go, and you're good to go. Our line from the ice maker to the pump is a downward slope, and the pump has a float, then when it floats that means enough water is in the unit, and it pumps it out of our house. Get a good pump, the cheap ones fail relentlessly. Our same plumber ran that line right next to where the water heater's exit line was, drilled a small hole, and boom - all my melted ice water flows safely to the grass outside my garage.

One last thing... I'll say it again. If you need a condensate pump, buy a good one. The first one we had died really quick. The cheap ones are very cheap, and being in the garage didn't help (the motor overheated). We knew it failed right away, there was puddle of water on the floor one morning, and the unit was very hot. It had a small fan near the power supply that burned out within a month of installation. I bought a much better pump, and have had no problems yet. It also has a float-less design (one less thing to get 'stuck') and lots of indicators. Don't spend $400-500 on a ice maker, and possibly $200-400 on a plumber and then stick a cheap pump in there. Get a good pump if you need it!

Because it's in a garage, and because that garage is in South Florida, I did use the timer feature to let it "freeze" ice longer. I have it set to +4 - which basically means it freezes the ice an additional four minutes before dropping it in the bin. The ice was a little to "soft" with some unfrozen water in the middle of the cube otherwise. Depending on where your ice maker is, you might not need that drastic an adjustment. It still makes ice really quick and really often.

The ONLY other quirk is... it's rainy season in Florida. We get a lot of thunderstorms, and our power likes to blip out for a minute or two sometimes. This unit will NOT turn itself back on. So some morning I walk in, and the bin is less than full because the power in the house went out briefly. Push the power button, reset my timer to +4 and I'm good to go. I wish it had an auto-power feature to turn itself back on. I may add a small UPS to avoid the power interruptions, and to prolong the life on the unit.

I am so pleased with this ice-maker. This is the third one I have tried in 6 years, and it is the only one I have found to be reliable, efficient AND produce more ice than I can use. I bought disposable ice bags on Amazon, and regularly fill a dozen of these with 10 lbs of ice and store in my freezer. That way I only have to run this about 1 week a month.

I keep this in my garage (in Florida) and even in a pretty high ambient temperature it produces hard ice that lasts in the bin for several hours. Of course it automatically replenishes as that ice begins to melt.

It was very easy to set up with the plumbing parts supplied. I had it set up and was running those first rinse cycles in an hour. It is as attractive as any appliance and would look fine in a laundry room, under-counter in a kitchen, a garage, or a deck (though probably not in direct sun).

All in all I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

First of all, I want to offer my services to the Chinese who wrote the instruction manual. It doesn't instill a lot of confidence in the consumer when "ice" is misspelled, and the grammar is laughable.

Second, the ice machine is very good. Lots of ice, even when the machine is in a warm room, where my machine is located. I had an inline filter put in the water line, and routed the drain hose through the wall and outside.

I always look at the negative reviews first when buying a machine. This machine had some negative reviews, but they seemed to be preferences rather than actual flaws in the machine. Example: the ice that drops makes a lot of noise. Well, please! The ice is not dropping on a pillow. Example: the ice machine is on most of the time because the storage bin is not a freezer and the ice constantly melts. Please! If you want to pay $3,000 and up, I'm sure you can obtain an ice machine with a freezer storage bin. Example: the ice that falls does so in sheets, and not individually. Please! Use a metal scoop to break up the sheets. So easy, and there's plenty of ice that has already broken up.

I bought this machine just before Summer, and have used the heck out of it. Plenty of ice, and the machine, even though in a warm room, is off much of the time. What's more important - plenty of ice, or the ice falling softly in the storage bin? I'll take the ice any day.

I have only adjusted the time by 1 minute in the ice-making process, which will make the ice harder. No issue, and if there is, I'll increase the time. The availability of ice is no longer an issue.

So friends, I am really happy with the Euhomy ice machine. Just get past the comically written manual, and you will have an abundance of ice. Now the question is, will this machine last for a good long time....

Long story short, Bought this a while back in March, the machine start leaking ( later on find out it was from the amazon delivery), anyway, I contacted the seller, Marah was really nice, we did a few text, then find out it was leaking from the back where the damage were, ( by that time the Amazon 30 days return window were already over ), but Narah still offer me the replacement anyway machine came a couple of days ago, hooked up everything worked perfect ( btw it does make real solid ice compare to me other ice machine home ), I would highly recommend this company to anyone I know or reading this because of the seller??s service and responsibly,

This machine is awesome. We own an Italian Ice Store which we just opened 6 weeks ago and we were constantly running out to buy ice. Since we went over budget so much getting our store ready to open, we couldn't afford one of those expensive ice machines so one day I was looking on Amazon and I found this ice machine. I read the reviews and I figured it must be a decent machine though I was a bit skeptical of how much ice it would make. I said to my wife, "Let's take a chance on it and even if it only makes half of the ice we need, that will make it so we don't need to run out to buy ice so often." I connected the machine to the water and electric on Friday about noon and by later in the day, I was totally amazed at how much ice this machine was making. Then I came in on Saturday Morning and the bin was full and that gave me 3 bags of ice to start the day with. As the day went on Saturday, I noticed that the machine wasn't making ice as fast as it was the past couple of days. We have the machine in a very small room and after realizing the machine wasn't making ice as fast, I also realized that the room temperature had gone up 9 degrees F since the day we started using the machine. The room temperature will have a major effect on a machine like this. On Monday I brought a fan in to circulate the air out of the room and bring cooler air in and the room cooled down in no time. After that, the machine was again spitting the ice out really fast. This made me think about reviews of this machine I read stating that it doesn't make ice fast enough could very well be because the person has their ice machine in too warm of a location. If you ever purchase a machine like this, be sure to place it in an area as cool as you can. I am loving this machine. If you look at the picture I posted, all of the blue bags are from this ice machine. You need to take into consideration that we use ice all day long and I just took this picture and I haven't even emptied the ice machine yet this morning so there are another 3 bags in the machine waiting for me to place in the freezer.

After owning this ice machine for almost 2 months, I wrote this to the company:

We sell Italian Ice and we are both elderly and have back problems. We were constantly running to Kroger or Walmart to purchase ice and we would buy 140 lb. to 160 lb. each time. We would have to load it in the back of our pickup truck and then carry all the ice into our store which was very difficult to do.

One day I was on Amazon.com and decided to search and see what kind of ice machines were available. Due to us going over budget to open our store, we could not afford to spend a lot of money. I was surprised at how many ice machines I found that were affordable, but I was skeptical as to if any of them would make near as much ice as we use. After looking at many machines, I showed your machine to my wife and said, ??Even if it makes half as much ice as they claim it makes, that will save us trips to the store and the ice won??t be all frozen together like the ice we are buying.??

Your ice machine surprised me the very first day I had it working. I could not believe how much ice it kept making. I find your ice machine to be amazing. We often have times that we can??t remove ice from the machine because all 3 of our freezers are totally full. I included the pictures of our freezers just so you can see how much ice we have on hand. Due to how much ice we do have on hand, we decided that we are not only going to use the ice for our Italian Ice, we are also going to start selling bags of ice.

Simple and easy setup. Produces ice fast, great for home use or a small business.

I have mine placed outside under my bar. So far it has help up very well producing ice and keeping from them melting away quickly.
Durning the winter I plan on turning it off and covering it for weather protection.

I needed a way to cool a cooling plate for my soda machine setup and this has been working wonderfully for 6 months now.

I simply drilled a hole in the back the size of all the tubing and placed the plate inside the ice machine.

It makes ice relatively quickly, you get a full load in a couple hours. I wasn't expecting much but it worked out of the box with no issues and at $400 is cheaper than any other solution for soda machines.

Once in a while, I get a E1 or E3 error but all I have to do is click the On/Off button a couple times and it starts right up. Sometimes the ice pack that's currently forming gets stuck and you need to pull it before you can restart but this is a fairly rare occurence.

Been going strong for 6 months now, running 24/7.

We've only had it for about a week but we love our ice maker. We had a little trouble getting FedEx to deliver it but Pamapic stepped right up and we got it the very next day. They have truly been the type of company I like to deal with. We've got our ice maker set up and working and just wow. It makes more ice in one day than our table top ice maker made in a week. Needless to say we are very pleased.
Well I wrote this review and forgot to post it so now it's been a few months and we are are beyond pleased with this little machine. I'm still in nonbelief at how much ice it makes.

UPDATED INFORMATION:
We were very please with the way the seller handled the problem, they replaced the Ice Machine right away. It works wonderful!! I highly recommend the seller and the Ice Machine

This Ice machine did not work, I contacted the seller right away and I was told it was non returnable.
I feel they knew when they shipped it that it was a non working machine. It displays a E2 code.
I am stuck with a non functioning ice machine that cost me over 300.00
I am very unhappy and am asking Amazon to assist with this problem.

My ice stopped working in my fridge. We could have paid someone to come out and replace parts that would have been the same price as buying this ice maker. Some people commented that this is not a freezer that keeps your ice frozen overtime. This is true, however, I find that you can generate a bin of ice that lasts for 2-3 days and just run it again when the ice is gone. I actually started to fill the ice maker in the fridge that still works mechanically, but it is just as easy to scoop it from the euhomy ice maker. You do need to make sure that it drains properly. I opted to use a standard 1/2 drip line from Lowe??s or depot with a half inch plastic elbow. I would strongly recommend a cinch clamp to ensure it doesn??t disconnect from the drain spout on ice machine. I live down south with a crawl space, so I drilled a hole in my floorboards and ran a 75 line outside to drain. I also made the front feet slightly higher than the back on the unit, so the tilt would help the drain. Works great and the ice cubes are clear and fresh!

Makes terrific ice and lots of it when it was working. Then it just quit. I was disappointed, because this was the best ice maker I have ever owned in terms of quantity and quality of ice. I wrote an email to the manufacturer, and they quickly volunteered to send another ice maker to me, without my even requesting it! I received the replacement yesterday. I have great hopes that the new unit will last longer than the 4 months the original one did, because when it's working the machine is simply without peer. If I have any further issues, i will update the review. Fingers crossed. Kudos to EUHOMY for extraordinary customer service.

Original Review 01/2020: Purchased 11/2019.

With five children, our refrigerator ice maker couldn??t keep up with our demands. We purchased this after our outdoor U-line ice maker died after 4+ years. I did not want to spend as much as I did on the U-line to replace it.

I was hesitant to purchase this since the price was so much lower than others and since it was not a freezer.

It was relatively easy to install. I only had to purchase an adapter for the water line (see picture) as I have this on my outdoor patio and connected to the existing water line (the instructions do say this is NOT for outdoor use - we will see how it handles the Texas heat this summer.)

It is quick to make ice and replenish our inside freezer drawer. Since this not a freezer, the ice cubes are in a constant state of melting and do stick together when placed in an actual freezer. We use a metal scoop inside and don??t mind breaking them up. The plastic scoop shipped with this unit should not be used to break up the ice.

After 3 months, we are satisfied with the purchase. Again, we are using it outside in Texas and will see how well it does.

If it lasts over 2 years, I will definitely come out ahead.
