I keep this on my back screen pation where we have our outdoor kitchen and entertain guests. This area of the house is party central and this ice maker fits right in. The only thing I would change is for the ice scoop to be metal instead of plastic, but $7 later and a trip to the feed store and I solved that myself.

I like it but the instructions need some work. For instance, if hooking drain hose to 3/4 inch drain line, there are no instructions for type of connector required. Had to just do a temporary rigged up connection. Still don��t know how to improve this connection.

I have had this ice machine for about 16 months, works great!<br>I take a cooler to work daily and I fill it every morning, this machine keeps up with my needs and refills the ice bin with in a couple of hours. It is a bit noisy , but I put mine in the laundry room where I had access to water and drain so the noise it not a problem for us.<br>Please note it doesn't include a drain pump so make sure you purchase an good pump with an over flow shut off switch

I ordered this right before the 4th of July because we have a big family gathering every year and buying bags of ice is a nightmare. I was worried it would not arrive on time but it actually came one day early. My husband hooked it up ??, there was no yelling or curse word so the installation must have been easy. This ice machine gets a 10 from me it is awesome! It works great, my family was very impressed! I am so happy we decided to buy this ice machine, we kept coolers full and had plenty of ice to put in drinks. I highly recommend

This was easy to install. The noise level is not bad, it??s installed in my garage and doesn??t bother me. It has a self cleaning option, but you will still need to manually clean this machine for mold. There are commercial products available to clean the inside of the machine for pink mold. I needed to install a reverse osmosis filter to get crystal clear ice cubes. You will probably need at least a filter inline to get better looking and tasting ice(depending on your water source).This machine makes ice relatively fast. It will work great for a home or small business. My kids always run the refrigerator out of ice. Great for parties or filling up that ice chest. We bag our ice for drinks before a big party or camping trip. Thats why we needed this machine. You will need a bigger machine though for high production ice making.

So far I am thrilled! 103 degrees outside and I installed the ice maker 2.5 hours ago in my garage and it is already 1\3 filled with ice! The timer feature is terrific, need ice once in a while but want to save energy, set the timer only when you need ice. Dang cool, pun intended! Instructions could be written better but overall this ice machine is fast and very well built!

Received the ice machine Tuesday, unpackaged and let it set 24 hours. Wednesday, installed water filter, hooked up water supply, ran drain hose, cleaned the inside, ran the clean cycle twice, drained and recleaned inside. Turned on &, setup around 1:00pm, checked it several times, then at 8:00pm noticed the ice bin full and ice machine had turned off. This morning, bagged (3) 8# bags of great clear solid ice and the ice machine turned itself on again, started making ice.<br>Update---I have now put (10) 8# bags of ice in my freezer from the Euhomy Commercial Ice Maker and shut it off until we need more ice.<br>I also Activated the Warranty, but didn't need the free gift, Thank You.

We are very happy with the Euhomy ice machine. The machine that was initially sent to us was defective and Euhomy customer service quickly responded to emails and determined a new machine needed to be delivered. They fedexed the second unit and it was received within a week.<br><br>The installation was straightforward. The only issue we have had was the new machine had one error code over the past 3 months that required the machine to be turned off/on before it produced more ice.<br><br>We recommend you purchase a larger and more substantial ice scoop and a large ice bucket,and if you place the ice in a freezer make sure you have an ice pick.

Arrived well packed, double boxed withsome foam padding. Installed in pantry easy if you are comfortable doing a little plumbing, need water source, floor drain or ac condensate pump and outlet. Hear soft fans when running you know it but in kitchen, pantry is fine. Followed instructions and let stand upright overnight and cleaned, running well for a month, few times a day, makes plenty of ice in our kitchen, about 74 deg F doesn't vent much warmth into room. Barely feel it with your hand in front. Family likes! No one uses catancerous one in fridge anymore. A friend has one too we both recommend them.

So far I'm really happy with this little ice maker! Keeps up with the demand of the 38 room hotel where I work, and then some, with ease. And does it at a fraction of the cost of ice makers generally used in hotels. Takes up much less space too! Made room for us to put a snack machine where the old ice maker was, which is bringing in extra cash in a space that used to cost us money. I recommend getting a heavy metal ice scoop to go with this, the supplied plastic one won't hold up to breaking up the ice long. It's kinda short, so perfect for under a bar. But otherwise you may want to put it on some kind of platform. And don't forget, you'll need a floor drain nearby.

I agonized over what ice machine to get. After much deliberation, I pulled the trigger on this one and I am glad I did. I love it. I had a plumber install it, but I probably could have done it myself. It isn't complicated. I recommend getting a good filter so you get nice clear ice. It makes ice fast. As for the noise, I really can't speak to it because it is in my basement because that was the easiest place to install without a remodel of the kitchen. Not a big deal as I have to make a trip once every two days or so. If you are on the fence, just go ahead and pull the trigger. You won't regret it. Hands down it beats the crescent shaped ice that comes out of the refrigerator.

Have to write a review on this thing. It is truly a workhorse. We've had many brands of ice machines, Hoshizaki, Scottsman, Uline, and more than one model of each. They all eventually failed. This guy just keeps making ice. We have it in the garage (FL) so the garage is hot. No problem. We did raise it on concrete blocks because it's easier to get the ice out (lazy???maybe.) We also added an inline filter. The only downside anyone should be aware of is it is noisy and does produce a certain amount of heat so if it was inside that would be something to deal with. We call it R2D2. Have had it a month and couldn't be happier. We even turned off the icemaker in our fridge because we like the clearer ice this makes.

We ordered this machine because we are a family of 5 very active people. The ice maker in our refrigerator would run out in the morning as everyone filled their water bottles to go to work or school. I work from home and my husband is self employed, and we didn't have ice during the day to refill our water bottles because the refrigerator didn't refill that fast....We received this machine a few days ago and it makes A LOT OF ICE. I expect that we will never run out....the weekend is the real test when most of us are home, but I don't foresee any issues. We have the ice machine in the laundry closet (washer and dryer are stacked so there was plenty of space) and the refrigerator is on the other side of the wall, so it's not far away. I have had zero issues with the noise level or melting ice. I can't speak to how easy it was to setup, because hubby did that part, but he didn't complain any!

This ice maker was a Father's Day present to my hubby, but more like a purchase we needed for life on the lake. We were buying ice almost every day of the weekend and this machine keeps up with our needs to keep the ice in the coolers, fill up friends needing ice along with making enough ice for after lake bonfires or dinners. I purchased some 10lb ice bags and filled a few up and placed in the freezer. This allowed for us to have it while the machine was catching up. The different sizes are great to have, when needing ice faster we used Size 2, when we were just making some to have for drinks vs cooler use we went with size 4. I would certainly recommend this product, it is great for the price, even though I paid a little more than when I first eyed it up due to waiting until closer to July vs March when I was originally looking.

The ice maker in our refrigerator/freezer kept clumping and wouldn't come out. We purchased a portable ice maker which worked great at first but burned out after a couple of years. We needed something heavy duty and this commercial ice maker was perfect. It is nicely priced around the same as the smaller portable ice makers. We placed it in our laundry room and tapped the water source off of the washing machine faucet. Since the washing machine drainage is fairly high, instead of trying to use it, we then drilled a hole through the wall to the outside so that it would drain directly into the garden. We originally used a container to capture the water at first but be warned that especially during the summer, the drainage could be significant and could easily overflow your container. Inside the house, the ice maker is a little noisy when it is making ice and at first drove the dogs nuts, but now they are used to it and pretty much ignore the noise. Overall, we would recommend this ice maker to anyone looking for something heavy duty that will last a long time.

My family loves this ice maker! We have had this machine for four months. The ice maker holds about 20 pounds of ice. My husband is able to fill his large Yeti cooler with the contents. It also makes ice really quickly. I like how the settings can be adjusted for the hardness of ice. The machine is outside and still performs well and keeps ice frozen in temperatures exceeding 90??. This ice maker is also quiet, so you won't hear a humming motor...just the occasional sound of ice dropping from the tray to the bin. I HIGHLY recommend this product! It is very good quality for the price.<br><br>Something to keep in mind: you will need to install some sort of drain pipe because water from melting drains from the bottom of the unit. We installed a small pvc pipe so that water drains out into our driveway, instead of pooling under the machine. I have included pictures of the gray drain hose and white pvc pipe we used for drainage.

Whilst not rated for outdoor use I have this installed on my outdoor kitchen in Arizona and while I don't run it during the day I will say that it's extremely durable and creates ice quite fast even the Arizona heat. A run of the machine for a few hours creates all the ice and need for a party.<br><br>It's relatively quiet and draining the water resevior after creating ice is relatively easy with popping out a silicon drain hose into the ice bin itself. I use the ice maker to fill my ice chest and it's very convenient compared to running to the grocery store for bags of ice.

We were hesitant to buy an ice machine online but were tired of the inconvenience of buying bags of ice every morning from our local convenience store. We decided to purchase this machine and give it a try. It was pretty simple to hook up and it started making ice in 20 mins! It's a great little machine. We own an orchard and during the summer it gets extremely hot. We keep cold water for our pickers and workers throughout the day and this machine makes it so much easier. We'll fill up our large water cooler with ice and water in the morning and then again around the middle of the day and it will last us all day. We never have to wait for it to make ice, the bin is always full. I also bought some ice bags and fill those up to have extra ice on hand. It produces around 100 pounds of ice a day. We have been extremely pleased with this machine and would purchase it again.

We purchased this unit for our lake house and it works outstanding. It makes lots of ice fast. We had 12 people at the house over memorial day and multiple coolers and this kept up all weekend. We never once had to go out and buy ice, where previously we would have bought 3-4 20 lb bags a day.<br><br>Since we use so much ice at the house, we do not worry about the holding bin not being refrigerated. We go through the ice way faster than it can melt.<br><br>The small downsides are it is a little noisy , but it is a white noise and no one seems to care. The other thing downside is the fact that it is not very attractive in my opinion. I would put it onto a cabinet, however it needs it's front clearance for the ventilation.<br><br>I would highly recommend this unit for high demand places such as lake houses or small cafes.

Awesome ice maker for the price. I replaced a uncounted ice make that cost over $1200 and has been out for several years. This thing was packaged better than anything I have ever bought online. Double boxed, corner protection, plastic sheeting on the stainless. Easy to set up, quick connections and I already had a drain pump setup. Love how you can adjust how long it freezes the ice for, at first the sheets of ice cubes were to thick after reducing freeze time by 3 minutes it makes perfect ice. This thing makes a lot of ice fast. So far it is well worth the money. I also put a filter on it that had the same quick connections.
