Replaced an unused under counter garbage compactor with this Wine Frig that matches the size of the compactor. It is a great replacement. It looks great in the space and stores many bottles of wine. Accommodates different bottle sizes nicely. Easy to set up the dual cooling zones. Very quiet operation. Highly recommend! We had to install a recessed outlet in place of the normal duplex outlet to allow the wine frig to be pushed deep enough into the under counter space because the frig has a straight plug, whereas the compactor had a right angle plug. Once the recessed outlet was installed the frig fit in the space nicely without crimping the cord at the plug.

Temperature control is spot on and I love the blue ambiance light feature. We moved our ice maker out and replaced it with this and it fits in the space perfectly!

The fridge is quiet, there??s NO sound I??ve heard so far and it??s been in a couple weeks. I was concerned I wouldn??t be able to fit 48 bottles but with two bottles snuggled in the back, I think I got 46 in the fridge and I drink mostly red. Slips under a standard counter top height, will add a cane to piece to make it look more complete and ??built in??.

The wine cooler came ahead of schedule, and was expertly wrapped with absolutely no damage. It slid right into the spot where our old cooler which went Kaptut went, the listed measurements were right on, and cooled super quickly! i like this item. would buy again. just make sure you have a requirement for a front venting unit. if you dont need that, then, i would go with a back venting unit. this makes noise, its quiet, but not necessary to have if you dont need front venting if that makes sense. it does certainly hold 18 bottles. yes, its a good buy and quality for the money.

I was skeptical of the reviews that talked about how quiet this unit was. Well, let me tell you ... it is quiet. It doesn??t even run unless it needs to run. It acquired the set temperature within a couple of hours which was another surprising fact as I remember my old one would take several good hours of humming to reach the desired temperature. I??ve only had it for less than a week so the jury is still out. But so far, I am definitely impressed. I keep on checking on it and it??s still dead quiet and it still keeps the temperature.

Update: This fridge is d3signed for bottles with a diameter of 2-3/4?? and a max length of 11.8?? This information was provided by the mfg. My bottles are of varying diameter, the smallest being 2-7/8?? and these fit nicely as well, 5 per shelf. The next size uo, 2-15/16?? make a tight squeeze and also make the drawers difficult to open and close. The bottom self is deeper, to allow for larger bottles, of which we have two fat bottles, but even then we were able to get five bottles on shelf. The way to get five bottles per shelf, assuming proper width and length is to begin with the left most bottle facing in and butted to the front, the next facing out and all the way back, and so on. My only complaint now is the door designed without a clear view of the temp without opening the door.

Overall, I really like the wine cooler but wish the instructions that came with it were more detailed. I want the whole cooler to be set at 55 degrees and I can't get the control on the left side to move from 50 degrees.<br>The deliver was delayed and came a few days later and luckily 30 minutes before I left town for a few days. I was disappointed about the late timing and worried about it until it arrived since what was available online was vague and didn't pinpoint the update...that's the nature of the beast these days though and it worked out.

This wine fridge looks great and fits perfect under my beverage bar! Bought the 5 year warranty as my previous Danby wine fridge was a complete dud! The compressor croaked and could not be replaced. Hope this antarctic star holds up, so far - - so good! Nice and quiet too!

Just got our wine refrig. Delivery and packages were great. Instructions were easy to follow. Remember to have it erect and wait two hours before plugging it in as directed.<br>Time will tell about overall functionality and durability but so far it lives up to previous reviews!

Bought on sale and installed ourselves. Easy to adjust height using bottom feet and has long enough cord to plug in 4?? away under the counter structure. Light looks good. Simple clean look matches our other stainless kitchen appliances.

I decided to bring this refrigerator down into our basement! Got it down 3 steps to one landing then 1 step to the top landing of the basement! So far so good only 8 steps to go! My wife was very encouraging that maybe I should get some help! Don't worry dear I can do it, hey I've got a nice thick pad that professional movers use, what can go wrong! All I have to do is pull it a little and just brace it so it would so it would depend slowly! Did I forget to mention that this wine cooler was not light in weight! Once it started descending as you might guess it picked up a bit of speed and came crashing down! Thankfully it came to a sudden halt as it careened into some shelving at the bottom of the stairs! Unfortunately both the cooler and myself did incur a few scrapes and dents! Well to make a long story short, thinking the worst I waited a week before plugging it in as I expected the worst! You can imagine the look on my face as it along with the wine cooler lit up! Bottom line, I highly recommend this one tough wine cooler and there are times when a husband should listen to his wife!

I very much like the design of this unit. It was a perfect fit for our kitchen island. The variable temperature control for red and white is a nice touch. I like the ability to turn the lights on and off. Very cool look for parties.

This was not an issue for us because the unit worked perfectly and we planned to create a custom cabinet for it. the manufacture offered a discount which was super nice instead of having to repackage and ship back.

Used this unit to replace a trash compactor that was ugly and outdated. It is attractive, holds a lot of bottles for the space it takes up. The unit also runs very quietly which is a big issue for me as I have friends with very noisy units and I knew I definitely didn't want that. I really like the wooden shelves as opposed to steel as we have maple cabinets so that matches nicely. When I had some questions the customer service was quick and excellent.

This fridge arrived on time, in perfect condition and works as advertised. This is the first fridge I have owned, but have done extensive research and seen many that are owned by friends and colleagues. I wanted something that would hold between 15-20 bottles, be quiet, compact, not stand out and stay at a constant temperature. For the price, this has worked out incredible well for me, if I upgrade or get an additional fridge I will buy from antarctic star again.

We recently replaced a different brand that had failed, was replaced by insurance, and then the replacement one failed again. Needless to say, we were looking for another brand. This Kalemera 24" fits perfectly in our space, is MUCH easier to insert bottles without scratching the labels, and does well keeping two separate areas at different temperatures. The added lock is a benefit. Definitely recommend this brand!

Works great. Does the job it was designed to do, but could have a better control response. Luckily this refrigerator is pre-set to pull down to 40 degrees and hold, because I could not adjust the temperature. If it is not connected to a grounded outlet the light will not come on with the control button.?

We really like the design and working of this wine cooler. After some research, I realized wine cooler manufacturers exaggerate the number of bottles the cooler will hold. I wanted a cooler for 36 bottles. I looked a the pictures on amazon and that is the number it holds.<br>It is very quiet. Generates practically no heat. The wooden slide out trays look nice and work well. I recommend this product, just keep in mind it holds 36 regular size bottles not 46.

I purchased this dual degree wine cooler in June of 2020 and have been very pleased. It maintains the the desired temp, it has very low operational noise and looks great. The support staff answered my initial setup questions promptly and I have not had any issues with the unit. Love my wine cooler!

Had a funky trash compactor that needed to go. This fit perfectly in the same cupboard slot. It??s quiet, blue light can turn off or on, shelves are easy to remove.<br><br>As we are primarily sparkling water drinkers- we are putting in a very thin sheet of matching wood on the shelves so the cans don??t ??tip?? in the slats.<br><br>Would buy again.

Aside from the fact that the UPS driver left it on a palate in the middle of the gravel road that goes by our home - rather than on our walkway which was a mere 10 feet away - and then claimed it was left at the front door, this wine refrigerator is as-advertised. Just make sure you have a dolly* and some muscle to get it into place. I find it very quiet and we were able to switch the door to open from the other side with little difficulty. Bottles do not fit in the slats in the wood shelves, but that enables more bottles to fit on a shelf, I suppose. Temperature seems accurate and the unit was very fast reaching the set temperature.<br><br>*I will put in a plug here for the WORX Aerocart, which is invaluable for that purpose, as well as a superior wheelbarrow. Perfect fit to replace our unused trash compactor. We were looking for a fridge this size for Soda/Pop. Putting the cans in along didn??t work well as each self on held 6 cans.<br><br>By taking two shelves out we were able to put a 12 pack on two shelves with 6 additional cans on the side of the case. The bottom shelves is not as deep (fridge compressor) but does hold a case of juice boxes.<br><br>My wife is so happy she now has room in our main fridge for all of her baking needs. It chilled down quickly and the drinks seem a lot colder then 40.<br><br>The fridge is just fun to look at! Oh the delivery came from a Prime semi truck and delivered with care. We are able to fit 25 regular shaped 750ML bottles. We also tried loading it with odd shaped and wide 750ML bottles. We had to remove shelves and are able to fit three champagne bottles at the top, and 15 odd shaped bottles below.<br><br>Antartica's customer service agent was knowledgable and super helpful. She talked us through the installation (easy with two people) and solved the mystery of attaching the door handle (you have to pull-off the door's rubber trim to find the set screw then push the rubber trim back into place - after its done you will appreciate why its designed this way). After the instal the agent followed up with texts to check if we were happy, and yes we are very happy.<br><br>Helpful hints: Carefully read the installation &amp, user manual and especially programming page, it's not intuitive. Also, practice gently removing and re-installing the wood shelves a few times before installing the unit. If in doubt call customer service.

Received our antarctic star wine fridge yesterday. First thing I noticed was the packaging. Very heavy cardboard box on a pallet. ys asked where I wanted it, and carried it to my front porch. Great job!) I cut the box open, and inside was 2 1/4" styrofoam board completely surrounding the fridge. Incredible packaging to make sure it's not damaged when you get it. Got it installed without any issues. All 4 feet adjust to make leveling fairly easy. Measurements as advertised. I reversed the door, which was a major consideration for us. We plugged it in and could barely hear it run. I literally had to stand next to it to hear it. I checked the temps this morning and initial settings of 45 degs. for the top actually measured 50 degs. Bottom temp was set to 55 degs. and measured 54 degrees. I was looking at $2000 to $4000 wine fridges, but this one beat them all for meeting our requirements. So far, this wine fridge has exceeded our expectations. Yes, the top setting was off a bit, but I wanted 48 degrees for whites, so a 45 degree setting with a 50 deg. result is just fine. Not sure how you get a lot of temp. separation within the same box. The blue led lights were a nice touch too. A good looking fridge and we are super happy.

I have this unit in my bedroom and I can tell you, it's not loud at all. It cools all my reds perfectly and then I use the top area for waters, beers exe.<br><br>Would highly recommend it! Just make sure you have 2 people to set it up, it's pretty heavy!

This is a great little fridge. I had to cut out a little more of my cabinets than I wanted, but in the end, it was well worth it!<br><br>Pros: Fridge looks great and works as advertised.<br><br>Cons: It is a little loud when the compressor is running. After a few days having the fridge installed, I don't really notice the noise as much since it only turns on a few times throughout the day. Still worth it. Also, they used low quality stickers on the front, so when you remove them it will leave a residue. Just use some "goo gone" to clean it up. Cheers!

Got Antarctic Star 12" wine cooler last week. Beautiful product with door lock and digital control lock capability. Much more quiet than my old wine cooler, which is far from loud anyway. The cooler accommodated 18 bottles of Napa Cab very nicely. Had a question with the door handle installation, and called customer service on Sunday. Surprisingly, Sharon called me back just few minutes after my call and patiently help me through the installation process. Had another call to Sharon for the product during weekday, it was answered instantly. Great product, with even greater customer service. Highly recommended !!

Temperature control works perfectly on this fridge and the only reason it didn??t get a 5 rating is because the upper portion for my white wines kicks in more than I thought to keep cool. But don??t let that discourage you from purchasing it because we have in floor heat which may be a factor. So I am going to change the 4 rating to a 5. The blue interior and temp control lights are very cool.

Only complaint was delivery person. They dropped out of truck, broke packaging and left. Have entire delivery on video. VERY POOR. No problem with product just delivery.

We love our wine cooler, it fit perfect on our furniture design. Love that has two different temperatures, has a key if you want to lock it, and holds enough wine bottles.

Arrived well packaged. Easy to get up and running. Like the quality of the shelves. Although it is supposed to hold 46 bottles, depending on on the bottles, you may not be able to hold that many. Saying that, I am able to store close to 46 bottles. Overall I am pleased with the look/design of the unit and its ability to keep wine at the desired temperature. I really like this wine refrigerator. It??s quiet looks very nice in my dining room. I was reluctant to put it in my kitchen because I thought it would be another annoying sound like my own refrigerator but it is so quiet I will probably make room in the cabinets in the kitchen. It is the oerfect dimensions for the kitchen cabinets but also looks great standing on its own in the dining room. The blue light is perfect and the wine bottles fit perfectly even the champagne bottles. Having 2 different temps is great too!! I love it!!

The fridge is really quiet, doesn't make a sound unless the fan kicks on and it's still pretty quiet. The drawers slide in and out pretty easily, and while they are really light and your wouldn't think they would hold up, they do.

It looks very nice, but I can not write a review because my kitchen remodeling is taking longer that planned and I was not yet able to install.As soon as I install and start to use it I Will write a review about how the wine cooler is working for me.

It was delivered and then installed in the slot left by removing a trash compactor on our boat. Initially it seemed impossible to do anything except turn the blue light on/off (as soon as plugged in it was 'on' and went to temp 12C. I contacted customer service thinking that it was malfunctioning and received operating instructions which provided the process for unlocking the temp setting keys.<br>No instructions came in the packing so i suggest you get them on line if none comes with your order. Customer service was prompt, but not as knowledgeable as one would hope since initially they advised me that the fridge wouldn't go any lower than the 12C. I went back to the specs on line to determine that it DID and that's when they sent the operating instructions. Note that this model does not have 2 temp areas. Since we just wanted to keep whites in it, that was fine for us but may not be fine for everyone.

We haven??t had it long, but so far, so great. This wine fridge is beautiful and SO quiet. And it fits under our counter exactly like I hoped it would, which is a huge relief. The described dimensions are spot-on. It seems like it took just a few minutes to cool down after plugging it in. The interior shelves are really nice, and the blue light is cool. The stainless exterior is great looking and came without a flaw. The glass is just dark enough to protect bottles inside, while still allowing you to see contents inside. I remodeled my kitchen and had a small space available for which the contractor suggested a wine fridge. This one is just over 12 inches wide and fits perfectly under the countertop and with the cabinets it abuts. It keeps wine cold and holds bottles of different shapes, although I don't think it will hold the larger bottles, like the 2 liter ones.

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this wine cooler because the bad reviews were really bad, however, I chose this at the last minute over another choice. The cooler was delivered into my garage since I saw the truck in front of the house and opened the garage door. Otherwise it would have been left in the driveway. Upon opening it I found it to be in pristine condition without a mark or dent anywhere. It was incredibly easy to reverse the door. My son bought a German made refrigerator and we had to buy a special tool to reverse the door. It took two of us 4 hours. I reversed this door in 25 minutes. When the door is reversed the company name appears upside down since the door is flipped, but I plan on using some fishing line and a hair dryer or heat gun to unfasten it. I waited 24 hrs. to plug it in and recommend others to do the same. Just tilting a refrigerant appliance and using it immediately puts unnecessary stress on the compressor. I was surprised at how quiet it was. Some of the negative reviews complained about noise, but mine is whisper quiet. The controls are idiot proof fortunately for me and really mimicked my old much smaller cooler. That said, no way you are getting 46 bottles of wine in this thing. With pinots and some sparkling wines I. managed 40 bottles, but you cant see the label on the bottles I reversed (cork toward the door) to increase capacity. I put in a digital thermometer and found the bottom temp is spot on, but the top temp reads 2 or 3 degrees cooler than my digital read out. Finally, the leveling legs are very easy to turn by hand and made setting it straight very, very easy. My first suggestion to the manufacturer would be to put the controls or at least the light switch on the outside of the unit. My old cooler has this and obviously I dont have to open the door to make adjustments or illuminate it. All in all I give it 5 stars and hope to get 10 years out of it, but with Chinese quality fade who knows.

This wine cooler satisfies every requirement that I was looking for. It has clean lines with a stainless steel surround on the door which gives it a very high end look. What really sold me on it was the all wood pull out shelves. Many of the coolers I looked at only had a wood facade on the front of the shelf while the shelf itself was not wood where the bottles rest. These shelves have wood slats where the bottles set. Gives it some old world charm! It has been keeping our wine chilled as expected and runs very quietly too. Love it!

This is a great wine cooler, it looks nice and keeps the alcohol cold. What more do you need. We also use it for canned beverages like beer to keep it out of our main fridge and it holds about a twelve pack no problem. I've never had an issue with laying the cans down on their side.<br><br>To top it all off, we lost the key but wanted to be able to lock it to keep our son out of it since it has booze and glass containers. The wine fridge came first thing in the morning - VERY well packaged and easy to install. I would say that it is a good 20lbs lighter than my Sub Zero wine fridge that lasted about 7 years before the compressor fan went out. Nice look and chilled quickly. Great product!

Outstanding customer support. The rubber stopper for the unused key hole easily falls into door and you cannot retrieve it. Beautiful design.

So far so good. This is the second wine cooler that we purchased for our kitchen the first one died within 6 months and the manufacturer was very difficult to work with. Overall it??s quiet it looks great and is quite functional I will update us within one year but so far so good.

We purchased this wine cooler after comparing all available 12" wine coolers. We love the look of it. We had an issue that may have occurred in the transportation of the unit. Customer Service was very helpful in getting it resolved.

I love this wine cooler because it is going to live longer than 3 or 4 years ! Excellent quality, beautiful wood bottle cradles, and quiet operation... Top notch!

It seems to be working great. I've been enjoying the wine much more as a result. I used to keep white wine in the fridge and red wine in the pantry. The white wine is good either way, but the red is much better when it's cooler than room temperature.

This Antartic wine cooler is everything as described. We installed it under our kitchen counter where our old trash compacter sat. Six months on it is working as promised, is very quiet, and looks like and is a high-end well designed (using the most of its fifteen-inch width space).
